My journey to the classroom
Originally from Birmingham, my passion for culture and language took me across Europe before settling in Italy, where I raise my two daughters surrounded by nature. Over the past 15 years, I have taught in both Italian state and private schools, starting in early childhood nursery education and progressing to primary and middle school environments.
Living closely connected with nature, I have seen firsthand how natural curiosity, artistic expression, and calm surroundings inspire confident language learners.
Creativity, CLIL, and Cambridge preparation
Language flourishes when children are engaged in topics they love. Beyond core English lessons, I have dedicated years to teaching art in English, as well as science and history CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) modules. I also prepare middle school students for Cambridge examinations and lead lively conversational workshops.
